BETHANY BLACK

Bethany Black has been a professional stand-up comedian since 2004. Her debut show Beth Becomes Her detailed the story of her being transgender, chronicling everything from her coming out through her transition and eventually falling in love. It was nominated for Best Debut at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2008, eventually losing out to Sarah Millican.

Over the course of her career she has performed alongside some of the biggest names in Comedy, including Alan Carr, Sarah Millican, Tim Minchin and Rhys Darby. In 2015 she was cast as Helen in Russell T Davies multi channel shows Cucumber, Banana and Tofu where she was the first trans actress to play a leading role.

“Her journey to Channel Four, ‘Doctor Who’ and steadily rising star status makes for hilarious if sometimes incredulous listening” Three Weeks

“Honest, to the point, and very very funny“ Arts Award Voice

BECKY BRUNNING

Edgy and average: the love child of rock'n'roll and cardigans. Becky is conflicted - about everything. Whether it's choosing a sandwich, knowing how straight to be or whether to take yet another driving test. Puts the comfort in comedy and the toothpaste lid on the tube because that's where it lives.

"Original, inventive and exciting" Sara Pascoe
